About the book:
These unique projects marry the love of textiles and quilting with the love of being organized!
Quilted fabrics add a warm and inviting touch to any room with an underlying message of comfort. When you combine beautiful textiles and machine quilting with eyelets, fibers, tassels, fringe, beads, buttons, metal tags, fabric shapes and ribbons, you complete a visual treat that you will be proud to display in your home or carry on your shoulder.
There are hundreds of possibilities for fabric combinations. In these particular designs we have matched the colors of lavender and kiwi with coordinating prints and polka dots that are so popular in the fabric shops right now. We spiced things up with black zebra print and black-and-white checks to create a surprise in the designs.
A French toile fabric in crimson red with black-and-white checker accents and a fanciful plaid to match would delight the traditional gal's decorating scheme.
The ladies who love country decor would appreciate these same projects designs created in calicos, florals and checks to match their pastel decor.
Let your imagination run wild as you select the perfect fabric for creating these wonderful projects. Whether you choose to use fabric from your scrap bag, or decide to purchase designer fabrics in rich tapestries and silk, these ideas will instantly give any room a pick-me-up with style and get you organized at the same time!
