Shibori dyed pillows made from batting? Who knew! I did an experiment with Fairfield's organic cotton batting and Tulip's blue one-step dye, and it came out beautiful! The batting is robust enough to hold up to sewing into a pillow, and the one-step dye saturated the batting into fabulous and luxurious home decor.

Father’s Day is coming up, and I thought it would be fun to send my Dad a burlap banner made with washers, burlap fabric and glue.  Even if your Dad has everything he needs, he can always use a reminder that he’s loved, right?

 Inspired by all the crazy Candy Crush talk in my family and at the office, I made this colorful and sparkly bag!

Pompom Pens are the perfect idea for Christmas gifts, and I've been working like crazy on pompom goodies to sell in our iLoveToCreateChristmas boutique next week.  My stash of yarn has been so great for all of these projects since they don't need to match each other, but they are so pretty with mixed bits of yarn in coordinating colors, don't you think? These are super quick to make and would be just the ticket for office gifts or stocking stuffers.  It only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to make one, and nobody will walk away from your desk...
