      Oh my gosh!  This old video from the 90's will make you seriously laugh out loud!  We are crafting our little hearts out, making reverse collage chandeliers, votive cups, lamps, and anything else we could get our hands on!  This will take you back to the Aleene's Creative Living television show that used to be on TNN every Monday thru Friday at noon.  We had so much fun doing this!   As you can see, we were rookies at being on TV, but we did it.  And those shoulder pads!  HAHAHA!  We couldn't get our hair high...

Here it is the 4th of July, and we certainly can't have a holiday without a cute centerpiece, now can we?     I'm that girl who simply must have a centerpiece with fresh flowers on holidays.  I used to work in fresh flower shops back in the day, and it's just the best thing in the world to come home to that sweet smell of freshness.   So, I ran to the Trader Joe's and grabbed a bundle of fresh flowers and plopped them in a vase.  Don't worry, because you'll fill in the gaps with....you guessed it... Pom-poms!...

  This woven wall hanging was so much fun to make for Fairfield with their fabulous cotton batting that I dyed with Tulip® dyes in lemon and indigo colors, and combined them with recycled jeans, shredded damask fabric, and Loopy Mango yarn.  It is part of a Fairfield social media campaign, and I can't wait to show you the rest of the projects that were made for a beautiful sunroom with tons of projects.  So check back soon, for more deets!  Meanwhile, here are the steps it took for me to make this wall art, that I hope inspires you to...
